EBC In The Community

We just don’t stay in our club! We get out and about and this page brings you some of our activities.

FRIDAY 22ND DEC 2017.
RUN FOR THE HOMELESS: Team run delivering Festive Packages to the homeless just before Christmas.
All donations welcome and we will need as many runners as possible!
A sign up sheet is at the club. Please write if you’re running and/or what item you will donate (that way we won’t end up with a million hats).
Bonus points to those who get sponsorship. All monetary donations will go straight to a local charity.
Any other ideas welcome!

On Saturday 10th December 2017 Eastbourne Boxing Club was asked to switch on the Neon Noel display at the Eastbourne Town Hall. Our members donned their gloves and pads to put on a sparring display before our chief trainer Adam pressed the button to start the display.

Not only did he plug the club but managed to say that the club is not all about punching someone in the face.

Members also gave out leaflets to prospective members about the club.

Eastbourne Boxing Club and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Raise over £800 for the Asher Fund

Running up and down Everest as many times as you can against the elite of the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is no mean feat.  The ESFRS  came out victors by 3km to win the battle! Meanwhile our efforts raised over £800 for the Asher Fund. Suffering from Cerebral Palsy, young Asher requires ongoing physiotherapy after a series of operations to help him gain control over some of his limbs.

We are very proud to have helped Asher and it was great to see the community pull together with their generous donations.

You can still donate here

Eastbourne Boxing Club raise over £1,000 for charity!

Thousands of people saw our Eastbourne Boxing Club boxers sparring and doing pad work in the town centre on Saturday 10th October. Using our just giving pages and many, many generous donations from the people of Eastbourne it was astounding to see how much we raised for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice. A fantastic day of charitable giving
and hard graft/training. 2 birds with 1 stone! It was great to get young kids up in the ring to do pads also and gently introduce them in this great sport of ours! Thank you also to Hillcrest and Fishersgate Boxing Clubs for their sparring and fund raising too!
