On Saturday 18th November 2017, Lucy Kisielewska boxed against Katie Smith of the host club, Gosport.

Scheduled for 3×2 minute rounds, Lucy started very positively. An early barrage of punches got her off to strong start pushing her Hampshire opponent back.

Then with a change of tactics, Lucy chose to sit on her back foot. Waiting, she timed her shots well to score and then moved off. Pleasingly, she added in the second phase to cement the round. Smith came out hard in the second but with much of the same response from the Eastbourne boxer.

The third and final round was tighter but Lucy was emphatic throughout recording the unanimous decision. ‘I’m really happy with my performance and felt great’ said the Geordie Assassin.
